Esthetic Crown Lengthening and gingivectomy procedures help correct imbalances in tooth and gum proportions to achieve harmony and symmetry. They can be used after orthodontic treatment to create ideal gum margins and tooth ratios, or to achieve an esthetic result for anterior crowns. They can also be used to help balance a “gummy smile”. Soft tissue procedures are covered in more detail in the gum grafting section, but can also be employed with implants and other procedures to improve esthetic outcomes.

Dr. Brancheau is a member of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons, a group dedicated to advancing research and techniques focused on oral plastic surgery and esthetics. A passion of his is minimally invasive surgery, as well as collaboration with other dentists, prosthodontists and orthodontists to achieve the best results.
